✅ How to Audition
Round 1
1️⃣ Audition Workshop ✅
- Jackie No will be teaching a secret and fun audition piece and we’ll be recording small groups at the end of the auditions!
- Sign up for an audition slot by 9/11 EOD! Spaces will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis!
- Tuesday, 9/8: 5 - 8 PM, Rubenstein Arts Center 124
- Saturday, 9/12: 10 AM - 1 PM, Rubenstein Arts Center 124
- If you absolutely cannot make either day, let us know in the sign up form.
- If you signed up but can no longer attend, please DM us on Instagram or email us at [email protected] ASAP so we can offer your spot to someone else!
2️⃣ Audition Supplemental Form ✅
- Submit your supplemental form here! It consists of some short answer questions to help us get to know you better. For your audition to be considered, you must submit this form by Monday 9/7, 11:59 PM EST — no matter which audition day you signed up for.
3️⃣ Audition Video Resubmission
- Submit your video(s) here! If you auditioned on 9/8, submissions are due 9/10, 11:59 PM EST. If you auditioned on 9/12, submissions are due 9/13, 11:59 PM EST.
Resubmission Video (Mandatory)
Resubmit a video of you performing the audition piece again! This is your chance to work on the piece on your own time and show us what you got!

🚨 Before you start the audition combo, please state your name and netID without any editing. Music must be at 100% speed. (Video can be more than 45s in length)

Supplemental Dance Video (Optional)
Submit any representative dance video that you want us to consider! This is your chance to show another side of your dancing that the audition didn’t highlight!

🚨 Videos must have been taken in the past 3 months and less than 45s in length. If multiple people can be seen, please indicate which is you. Music must be at 100% speed.

Round 2
4️⃣ Coffee Chats/Interviews
- Coffee Chats are a low-pressure, low-commitment way for us to get to know you as a person beyond your dancing videos and text responses!
- People invited to Round 2 can sign up for one 20-minute coffee chat with one of our group directors.
- “Auditionees” will be informed of their status regarding their Round 2 participation sometime during the week of 9/14.
