This Privacy Policy describes how PuzzlePals ("we," "us," "our," or the "App") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application.
Using PuzzlePals is entirely voluntary. By creating an account and using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Email address. Used to create and sign you into your account (via a one-time passcode sent to your email). We do not require or store a password.
- Profile information. Your display name, username, avatar selection, and optional bio.
- User-generated content. Puzzle game scores and results you choose to share, along with any captions, comments, reactions or notes you share within the App.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and analytics data. We collect data about how you use the App — for example, which puzzles you submit, when you submit them, and your activity within the App — in order to power features like leaderboards, personal bests, and other statistics. This data is tied to your account and can be linked back to your identity.
We do not currently collect precise location data, and we do not access your device's contacts, photos, or camera.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and maintain your account
- Operate core features of the App, including the feed, leaderboards, and personal analytics
- Display your submissions and profile information to your friends within the App, consistent with the App's sharing features
- Communicate with you about your account (e.g. sign-in codes, account notifications)
- Maintain the security and integrity of the App
- Improve and develop the App
