Round 2 — Into the Spider-Verse

The shortlisted teams from Round 1 will step into the final 24-hour offline hackathon, where ideas leave the presentation screen and become working prototypes.

This round is all about building, experimenting, collaborating, and solving problems under pressure. Teams will work together at the venue for 24 hours to develop their solution, test their ideas, overcome technical challenges, and prepare their final presentation. NOTE :

💳 Round 2 Participation Fee

Only teams shortlisted for Round 2 will be required to pay a nominal participation fee of ₹1,200 per team.

⚠️ Please note: This fee is mandatory and non-negotiable for all shortlisted teams proceeding to Round 2. Teams participating in Round 1 are not required to pay this fee unless they are shortlisted for the on-site round.

How Round 2 works:

  1. Teams qualify through Round 1 online PPT evaluation.
  2. Selected teams receive the Round 2 problem-statement set(Reveal at the day of hackathon). ⏳ Don't worry about running out of time! You'll have enough time to research, plan, and develop your MVP during the hackathon. Focus on understanding the problem, choosing the right technical approach, and building a working solution. We want to see your engineering skills in action, so make the most of the time you get! 🚀
  3. Each team chooses the problem statement they want to work on.
  4. Teams build and submit their solution during the on-site hackathon.

Important: Round 1 and Round 2 are different stages. The problem statement presented in the Round 1 PPT is used for the online selection process. The on-site round has a separate set of problem statements/questions from which selected teams choose.,. .. .. ..

Why have we designed it this way?

We want every team to start on a level playing field. In previous hackathons, concerns arose about teams arriving with solutions that had already been developed before the event. To address this and ensure a fair, transparent, and authentic hackathon experience, we have introduced our own custom-built software.

This software will help us track Git commits and other relevant development activities throughout the hackathon. It will be installed on participants' laptops on the day of the event, helping us maintain a fair and consistent evaluation process for everyone.

Our goal is simple: everyone gets the same starting point, and what matters is what you build during the hackathon… .. .. ..

🚀 And your Round 1 effort won't go to waste!

The PPT you submit for Round 1 is not just for selection. The top ideas and presentations will get an opportunity to be nominated for national-level hackathons, after further refinement and guidance from our mentors.

This means your hard work can go beyond Graphite ’26. You'll get a chance to strengthen your idea with industry mentor feedback and take it to a bigger platform.

You get a fair competition, valuable mentorship, and a potential pathway to national-level hackathons — a win-win for everyone! 🔥
