Bands

Atomic Mobile uses standard bands/frequencies available in the Australian network. The great majority of unlocked devices that are manufactured following market standards would enjoy the available 98.8% coverage of the Australian population. Devices should operate on:

• UMTS 850 (Next G – band 5)
• UMTS 2100 (3G – band 1)
• LTE 1800 (4G – band 3)
• LTE 700 (4G – band 28)
• LTE 2600 (4G – band 7)

It is important to note there are several “LTE700 bands”. Support of the LTE700 bands used in the US are not compatible with the Telstra 700.

Internet APN

In some cases where a user's device is unable to set up the network interface automatically to operate on Mobile (Telstra Premium Mobile network, aka WME), a manual configuration to access WPD (Wireless Pack Data) may be required. Below are the parameters, depending on the device, steps may differ slightly.

Ensure the device is:

• Not locked with any other carrier or service;
• Up to date with the latest Operational System available;
• Wi-Fi is turned off;
• The device is operational and working properly.
