About the Role
Initia is working on an initiative in Latin America at the intersection of AI x blockchain x the real world. We're looking for a builder to own the region from day one. You'll open doors with businesses across LATAM, launch new programs with them, and grow a community of individual contributors + businesses to participate in what we're building. You'll be our first person on the ground and will shape how we operate in the region.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Partnerships: Find, pitch and close partnerships with businesses across industries such as manufacturing, logistics, hospitality, retail and multi-site business groups. Own the pipeline from first meeting to signed agreement and launched program.
- Community building: Recruit, onboard and keep a growing network of individual contributors, from skilled professionals to everyday participants. Design incentives, referral programs and community channels that keep engagement and quality high.
- Launch and operations: Stand up programs end to end, including logistics, training, scheduling, quality checks and payouts, and hit growth and quality targets.
- Local setup: Work with legal counsel and our core team on privacy and consent requirements, contributor payments, local structures and equipment logistics.
- Team building: Hire and manage early local team members as the region scales.
- Playbook: Document what works so we can repeat it across countries.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years in business development, partnerships, marketplace operations or country launch roles at a high-growth company, ideally one that ran a workforce or contributor network (gig, delivery, mobility or data platforms).
- A track record of opening doors with large companies in LATAM and closing deals.
- Experience building and scaling a supply-side community.
- Comfort running operations hands-on.
- Fluent Spanish and English; Portuguese is a strong plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently across the region.
Even Better If You Have:
- A network across LATAM conglomerates or family-owned business groups.
