Session Overview

Resilient Coders Application Support is focused on helping students take active steps toward applying for the Resilient Coders program and other professional opportunities. The session will support students in understanding why programs, internships, and career-building opportunities matter, while also helping them approach the application process more strategically.

The session will focus on application strategy and hands-on application time. Students will review the application process, ask questions, and spend dedicated time working on their applications before key deadlines.

Target Audience

This session is intended for computer science students who have signed up to participate in Resilient Coders Application Support. The focus is on helping students move from interest to action by understanding the application process, preparing for the session, and making progress toward submitting their application.

Type of Support Provided

This project will focus on two main areas of support:

Application Strategy

Students will receive guidance on how to approach the Resilient Coders application process in a more organized and intentional way. This may include reviewing what the opportunity is, understanding what the application is asking for, discussing how to present themselves professionally, and identifying the steps needed to complete the application.

Hands-On Application Time

Students will also have dedicated time to work directly on their applications. The goal is for students to move beyond only discussing the opportunity and begin making actual progress toward completing and submitting their application materials.
