1. Purpose of the App

ResumeMint is a career tools application designed to help job seekers tailor their resumes to specific job postings and track their job applications in one place.

Within the app:

• Users upload their resume as a PDF or DOCX file
• Users paste or import a job posting URL from platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, Workday, Greenhouse, or Lever
• The app uses AI to rewrite resume sections to better match the job description
• An ATS keyword match score is computed to estimate resume-to-job alignment
• A Kanban board tracks all job applications entirely on-device

The app is intended for personal career use only and is not a job placement or recruiting service.

2. AI-Generated Content

ResumeMint uses Google Gemini AI APIs, provided by Google LLC, to generate tailored resume content from your uploaded resume and extracted job description, including:

• Rewritten professional summaries
• Tailored experience bullet points
• Adjusted skills sections
• Education and other section rewrites

By uploading your resume and submitting a job URL, you acknowledge that your resume text (up to 8,000 characters) and the extracted job description (up to 4,000 characters) will be transmitted to Google's Gemini API for processing via our Firebase backend.

AI-generated resume content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or phrasing that does not fully reflect your experience. You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI-generated output before submitting it to any employer. ResumeMint does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness of any tailored resume.
