Noa(h) is a seal kemonomimi that has been wandering in the Arctic Ocean for a very long time. Thanks to an unexpected encounter and opportunity, Noa(h) joined Laplce in 1980s. Although Noa(h) only can say “Ah-!” or “Fi!!”, they can understand human speech. Especially English and Nordic languages—and can even write. They are really sleepy, so Finn will inform all important informations later on.

Finn is a small seagull and is the only one who can understand what Noa(h) is saying. He’s almost like a interpreter, but sometimes thinks it’s quite bothering.

• They love small and pretty things and puts everything in their pocket. They are filled with seashells gathered from the Arctic Ocean before joining Laplace. Whenever she spots something lovely, she asks if she can take it. Though, she has a shy personality and only asks to people who they consider as close friends. If they truley trust someone, special conch shell might be gifted. It looks like an ordinary conch shell, but allows you to hear sea breeze and cries of seagulls. You can even feel the cold wind and salty sea breeze. Just like the Artic Ocean.
• When Noa(h) has free time, they heads to a nearby beach with Finn to sunbathe. The weather during chilly days of spring or autumn is perfect for them, as it isn’t too hot. They always go out for a seafood meal together afterwards.

• They are extremely shy around strangers and tend to avoid too noisy or crowdy places. Because of small stature and young appearance, many researchers find them cute and wants to pet their head. When that happens, Noa(h) always run away to the labratory or hide behind someone close who’s nearby and asks for help.
• Having spent nearly their entire life in the Arctic Ocean,they has a strong aversion to heat and is very sensitive to it. Usually, they carry around a large block of ice. Now, they are wearing Laplace lab coat that is made from a cooling material. This allows Noa(h) to live comfortably even during the hot summer.

Originally, Noa(h) didn’t have a name when joining Laplace, which caused some trouble. Even when asked, the small bird on its head seemed unfamiliar with the concept of a “name”. That seal kemonomimi could only say “Ah-!” or used specificly “Fi!!” when calling that bird. When Pointer asked quesions, they would only reply with ”Ah-!” to all her questions. Medicine Pocket who was nearby spoke up with an irritated tone.

“No AH! Stop with those AHHH!! It’s getting on my nerves, geez.”

Pointer pondered this for a moment.

"No...ah? Noah! Right. That’s a good name. And for you. Since your name sounds a bit like 'Finn’ because it’s simillar to ‘Fi’

Neither of them seemed to fully understand, but both wore expressions of satisfaction.

However, one problem problem remained. “Noa” was a name that leaned towards females, meanwhile “Noah” leaned towards males. That sea kemonomimi’s gender was unknown. Even Finn explained that they were neither male or female. When Pointer asked which one they preferred, they replied:

"Ah—? Ah!! Ah—!!!"

“They say they like both”,Finn translated.

"You blockhead, you can only have one name.You can’t have two of them", Medicine Pocket said bluntly.

The seal kemonomimi started to punch Medicine Pocket, while Pointer was pondering for a long time. Finally, she scribbled down something on a sticky note that was nearby.

When Pointer handed the note over, they stopped fighting and approached, wearing a look of immense satisfaction. Clutching the sticky note, They spun around in circles a few times before tucking it into one of the pant’s pocket. Pointer looked puzzled but couldn't help letting out a faint smile.
