I write psychological horror built on systems, pressure, and inevitability. As well as character driven comedy.
I’m Rory Kelly. I’m a writer focused on psychological horror, grounded tension, and systems that quietly break people.
My work leans into structure over spectacle. I’m less interested in jump scares and more interested in how environments, routines, and group dynamics create pressure that feels inescapable. Most of my stories start simple, then tighten until the situation itself becomes the threat.
I write across both prose and screen, often developing projects in parallel to explore what each format does best. My goal is always the same: build something that feels real enough to sit with you, and controlled enough to not waste your time.

Imorgyn ‘Rory’ Kelly - Screenwriter
I am a screenwriter specializing in psychological and elevated horror. My work focuses on controlled, contained narratives where tension comes from behavior, perception, and the systems people operate within.
Drawing from a background in professional kitchens, I approach writing with precision and efficiency, favoring clean structure, purposeful dialogue, and strong tonal consistency.
My projects are designed to balance commercial viability with psychological depth, often placing ordinary characters in environments that quietly strip away certainty and control.
He writes stories that don’t rely on excess, but on pressure.
