One-day orientation was conducted to the CSOs and municipal representatives on School Education Sector Plan (SESP) and the Localization Process. The orientation was taken place in Madhesh, Karnalai and Bagmati Provinces**.** The orientation was focused on the discussion on SESP, challenges to implementation and role of the CSOs. The session was facilitated by Dr. Meenakshi Dahal.

The first session was organized in Bardibas, Madhesh Province. Madhesh Learning Collaboratives /CSOs and municipal representatives from the eastern part of Madhesh Province participated in the program. Mr. Rebati Prasad Parajuli, Under Secretary and Chief of the Education Department of Bardibas Municipality, facilitated the first session on the introduction of the SESP. The second session was a group work session. After him, Dr. Meenakshi divided the participants into four groups. Each group had to identify the local-level challenges and the solutions to mitigate those challenges in the different sectors of school education. The last session was about the localization of the SESP and the roles of civil societies in this regard.
Similarly, in Karnali Province, Mr. Subarna Kumar Khadka, the Chief of the Education Development Division, Karnali Province, facilitated the first session of SESP.
