공유 공간의 원칙 / Shared Space Principles

1. 침대 배정 / Bed Assignment 기숙사 침대 위치는 룸메이트들과 상의하여 배정하세요. Please discuss and decide bed positions with your roommates. 6개월 또는 1년에 한 번씩 자리를 변경하는 것이 좋습니다. It is recommended to change beds every 6 months or once a year. 사무실에서 강제하지는 않지만, 2층 침대를 2~3년 동안 계속 사용하는 것은 불편할 수 있습니다. The office will not enforce this, but staying in the same bunk bed for 2-3 years can be inconvenient. 모두 같은 비용을 내고 같은 방을 사용하는 만큼 서로 배려해 주세요. Since everyone pays the same fee and shares the same room, please be considerate of each other.
2. 방 청소 / Room Cleaning 방과 화장실 청소는 돌아가면서 순서를 정하세요. Take turns cleaning the room and bathroom.
3. 방 안 소음 / Noise Inside the Room 방 안에서 통화하거나 음악을 듣지 마세요. Do not make phone calls or play music inside the room. 작은 소음이라도 룸메이트들이 쉬거나 공부할 때 매우 불편합니다. Even small noises can disturb roommates who are resting or studying. 통화는 방 밖에서 하고, 음악을 들을 때는 이어폰을 사용하세요. Make phone calls outside the room, and use earphones for music.
4. 야간 생활 / Nighttime Rules 밤늦게 게임을 하거나 불을 오래 켜두지 마세요. Do not play games late at night or leave the lights on for long hours.
5. 기숙사 방에 전기나 수도 요금이 많이 나오면 그 방에 사는 사람들에게 추가 비용이 청구될 수 있습니다. 방에 없을 때는 전기와 에어컨을 끄고 나가세요. Please be aware that if the electricity or water bills in your dorm room are too high, additional charges may apply to the students in that room. To save energy and avoid extra fees, remember to turn off the electricity and air conditioner when you are not in the room.

갈등 해결 / Conflict Resolution

1. 룸메이트 간의 갈등은 서로 대화하고 협력하여 해결해야 합니다. Conflicts between roommates should be resolved through mutual discussion and cooperation.
2. 기숙사 생활은 장학생의 사생활이므로 GKS 사무실에서는 기숙사 생활과 관련된 규칙이나 법을 강제하기 어렵습니다. Dormitory life is considered part of students’ privacy, so the GKS office cannot strictly enforce rules or regulations regarding dormitory life.

거주지 변경 규정 /Residency Constraints

1. 🚨방 이동 / Room Change -기숙사 방 이동은 원칙적으로 불가능합니다. Room changes in the dormitory are, in principle, not allowed.

2. ⚠️ 경고 규정 / Warning Policy

-룸메이트들에게 동일한 불만(complaint)을 3회 받으면 사무실에서 경고를 줍니다. If you receive the same complaint 3 times from roommates, the office will issue a warning. -경고가 3 회 이상 누적되면 기숙사에서 퇴거해야 합니다. If you receive 3 or more warnings, you will be asked to leave the dormitory.

기숙사 퇴실 / Dormitory Move-Out

1. 기숙사에서 퇴실하여 외부에서 거주하려는 경우, 반드시 아래 절차를 따라야 합니다. If you wish to move out of the dormitory and live off-campus, you must follow the procedures below.
2. GKS 담당교수와 사전 상담 / Consult the GKS Professor First 기숙사 퇴실을 결정하기 전에 반드시 GKS 담당교수와 먼저 상의해야 합니다. 퇴실 및 외부 거주를 먼저 결정한 후 사후에 통보해서는 안 됩니다. Before deciding to move out, you must consult with the GKS professor in advance. Do not arrange your move first and inform the GKS Office afterward.
