Responsibilities & Outcomes

• Lead functional safety and compliance (Machinery Directive, RED, EMC).
• Develop hazard analyses (FMEA, HARA) and validate mitigations.
• Design and review safety circuits and interlocks.
• Maintain safety documentation and manage audits.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate safety at every level.

Requirements

• 2–3 years in functional safety or systems engineering.
• Experience with ISO 12100, ISO 13849, IEC 61508.
• Knowledge across electrical, mechanical, and software domains.
• German and English proficiency.
• Startup or robotics experience preferred.
