When you are unavailable overnight, during holidays, or for a short period, you can change your store’s operating status to control Offer visibility across the store without Delisting each Offer individually. Your operating status affects only Offer visibility and purchase notices—it does not change the Listed status of the Offers themselves.

1. Choose the Right Operating Status

Operating Status Offer Visibility When to Use It
Open Eligible automatic-delivery and manual-delivery Offers remain visible. You can process Orders as usual.
Automatic Delivery Only Automatic-delivery Offers remain visible; manual-delivery Offers are temporarily hidden. You cannot handle manual delivery temporarily but want automatic-delivery Offers to remain available.
Temporarily Closed All Listed Offers in your store are temporarily hidden. You need to pause the regular display of all Offers in your store.

Hidden Offers are removed from Offer lists, Type pages, search results, recommendation sections, and your store’s Offer list. Being hidden does not disable the Offer details page and does not mean the Offer has been Delisted.

2. How to Change Your Operating Status

  1. Go to Seller Center → Seller Management.
  2. Click the current operating status in the upper-right corner, then select Open, Automatic Delivery Only, or Temporarily Closed.
  3. Review the confirmation message and confirm the change. After the operation succeeds, verify the operating status shown on the page.

If you see “Failed to update status. Please try again later,” your store remains in its previous status. Try again later, and do not assume your store has closed simply because you clicked the button.

3. Can Buyers Still View or Purchase Offers While My Store Is Closed?

After an Offer is hidden from regular listings, Buyers may still reach its details page through favorites, browsing history, or a shared link, provided the Offer itself remains Listed.

For Offers hidden because of the store’s operating status, the details page will indicate that the store is closed. Under the current setup, when a Buyer clicks the purchase button, they will see a notice that delivery may take longer. The Buyer can select Continue Purchase to place the Order as usual or Not Now to remain on the details page. Therefore, Temporarily Closed does not completely disable every purchase entry point.

Under Automatic Delivery Only, automatic-delivery Offers remain visible and available for purchase. The closed-store notice and additional purchase confirmation are not shown for these Offers.

4. Existing Orders Still Need to Be Processed

Changing your operating status does not automatically cancel existing Orders, issue refunds, or change Order statuses. You must continue processing existing Orders and after-sales Issues according to the original fulfillment process. Orders that buyers place through a still-available details-page entry point also remain your responsibility; the closed-store notice does not waive fulfillment obligations. If you cannot accept new Orders, Delist the relevant Offers rather than relying on Temporarily Closed alone.

5. How to Reopen Your Store

Go to Seller Management, change the operating status back to Open, and confirm. Offers that were hidden only because the store was closed—and that are still Listed—will automatically become visible again. You do not need to List them again or submit them for another review.

When you sign in again or open the Seller Center, the system will remind you to check your operating status if the store is still set to Automatic Delivery Only or Temporarily Closed. Your store will reopen only after you click Reopen Store and the operation succeeds. Closing the reminder or selecting Keep Current Status does not change the status. Do Not Remind Me Again Today only hides the reminder for the rest of the day; it does not reopen the store.
