Rapids provides powerful, granular controls to customize the graph representation to match your specific team workflow and project needs.
Graph Configuration Settings
You can customize how the dependency graph interprets your Jira data:
- Dependency Link Types: Select which Jira link types (e.g., blocks, depends on) are considered blocking dependencies. Any links not selected will be ignored, keeping your graph clean and focused.
- Estimation Metric: Switch between Story Points and Original Estimate (Man-Days). The graph cards and CPM calculations will automatically update to reflect your chosen metric.
- Non-Working Days: Configure your team’s non-working days (e.g., weekends, holidays). The CPM engine incorporates these non-working days when calculating the Late Start and Late Finish dates to ensure realistic timelines.
Real-Time Filtering Controls
The filter bar at the top of the Rapids screen allows you to dynamically subset the issues displayed on the canvas:
- Filter by Assignee: Instantly highlight or isolate issues assigned to specific team members to analyze individual workloads and potential personal bottlenecks.
- Filter by Issue Type: Filter the view to only show Epics, Stories, Tasks, or Bugs. Dependencies are still fully calculated in the background, but the view remains uncluttered.
- Filter by Status: Focus on active work by hiding “Done” tickets, or filter to see only “To Do” items that are currently blocked.
