Business need: Build reusable Sitefinity widgets that content editors could configure without changing code.
My role: Built and supported reusable Sitefinity components, translated content requirements into configurable CMS behaviour, and handled testing, deployment support and troubleshooting as part of a wider delivery team.
Scope: Around 20 reusable widgets across education, public-sector and organisational websites
Across multiple websites, I worked on around 20 reusable Sitefinity widgets covering:
The development work used Razor/MVC, C#/.NET, JavaScript and jQuery, with REST/JSON and SQL where required. I also carried out responsive, functional, CMS-editor and regression testing, and supported deployment, upgrades and production troubleshooting.
Each widget started with both the frontend requirement and the way an editor needed to manage it in Sitefinity. I defined configurable fields and display behaviour, built or updated the component, then tested the editor experience and frontend output before release.
Built and supported around 20 reusable widgets, enabling content teams to manage structured website content more consistently without repeated one-off development.
