Battle Butterfly Meifang

Battle Professor Meifang

• “A former instructor at Babylon Academy, Meifang was deemed too much of a publicity nightmare for even the famously flexible administration after a scandal for the ages surrounding his politician father. Now, he teaches at Labrys— the one school with a reputation that surely could not get any lower— as the faculty advisor for the Assassin Club. Though ‘teacher’ and ‘advisor’ are strong words for what he does, considering the fact that the contents of his flask are usually gone by noon.”

Broken Covenant Meifang

• “When Meifang was young, his parents died in a carriage accident on the road attempting to escape being caught in the crossfire of a particularly nasty battle in the endless war. Being orphaned on the road alone was a sure death sentence for the boy, but in a stroke of luck (or perhaps the opposite) he was plucked off the streets by an enigmatic Neverghaast who proclaimed him his son. When he came of age, his adopted father bestowed the curse upon him, and now and forever, he serves the man’s selfish cause with a deadly blind loyalty.”

Dumpling Darlings Meifang

• “The senior diva at the cafe, Meifang’s felt the need to step up his game since the recent arrival of a younger and peppier singing sensation. He trains day and night at both cooking and performing, determined to show the new girl up, “since she thinks she's so special.” She may not want the rivalry, but soon enough, she’ll learn just how cutthroat this business really is.”

Fleeting Fan Meifang (Immortal Journey)

Heartstealer Meifang

Spirit Blossom Meifang

• “Despite the protests of the cursed village’s elders, the governor’s only heir left his home the day of The Offering in the sacrificial robes meant for his sister. That night, a melancholic song washing over the valley brought the townspeople to their knees. Though the vengeful spirit’s replacement would demand no more souls, every once and a while a haunting melody would slither down from the mountaintop, an omen of preeminent destruction.”

Sinful Shores Meifang

• “Finally away from the ever-present scorching flames of the underworld, Meifang can finally use that fan of his to cool himself down rather than fan the flames. Although he is content to just relax and enjoy the sound of the waves crashing against the shore, sometimes a mortal’s eyes rest on him for more than a second too long. Although he hadn’t planned on doling out any torment on his chill day, sometimes a mortal really deserves it.”

Soul Fighter Meifang

• “Here's a fresh face for you to gawk at— this total newcomer to the tournament refuses to give up much about his past, so we elected to do it for him! We did some digging, and it turns out he's the adopted only child or Kellam Lamine, one of our most generous sponsors! Does this make it nepotism? We don't know— but we’re pretty sure he didn't get those dazzling soul powers from his rich daddy! Everyone lay eyes upon MEIFAAANG!!!

Snow Moon Meifang

• “The Snow Moon’s expert in espionage, Meifang once infiltrated the cult with the goal of taking them down from the inside. But to do so required participation in their ways, and when he heard the call, he could not resist. Since being inducted into the order, he’s risen higher in their ranks, born anew with his original intentions far out of sight.”

Withered Rose Meifang

• “Every year, Meifang attended the gala in the name of the ailing lord Lamine, executing his orders smoothly to secure alliances for the head of house who wasn’t even in attendance. But this year, he has other plans— if he can ensure an alliance for his father on his own, he can break one, or many, just as easily. And why stop at his own?”
