Overview

Exarch Skithix is an ancient insectoid antagonist whose schemes sit behind some of the most traumatic events in 🟩 RSR - Bloodtiger. Massive, armored, and almost impossible to engage on ordinary terms, Skithix operates through calculated cruelty: isolating targets, exploiting institutional power, and turning suffering into a tool.

Skithix’s most consequential known act is the ambush and capture of Forza Ninetails. Working through—or alongside—Ukatan, Skithix redirects Forza into the chain of events that ends at RD10-003, where Forza is used as a living weapons test subject.

Appearance

Skithix is described as an enormous insectoid presence: a corridor-filling bulk with working mandibles and a dense carapace. Unlike a purely chitinous insect, however, much of his exterior is covered in feathers. The unusual combination gives him a silhouette that feels both ceremonial and alien.

He is usually seen wearing robes, reinforcing his role as a shamanic or monastic cult figure rather than a conventional soldier. The layered fabric partially conceals his armored mass while framing his feathers, mandibles, and scale as elements of ritual authority.

Beneath the robes, his carapace is durable enough to turn aside Forza’s blade. His physical scale remains central to the impression he creates: Skithix does not need theatrical display to dominate a room; his bulk, armor, feathers, and alien anatomy make an encounter feel claustrophobic before he acts.

Personality & character

Cruelty as method

Skithix is defined less by rage than by intentional harm. Where Ukatan’s manipulation can be framed as strategic self-interest, Skithix appears to value suffering itself—or at minimum considers it a uniquely useful way to shape people. He does not merely defeat Forza; he helps place Forza in circumstances designed to break identity, memory, and agency.

Patience and long-range thinking

Despite his brutality, Skithix is not impulsive. He identifies Forza as important to a larger order years before the main story and acts through intermediaries, false reports, and redirected missions. His methods suggest someone comfortable allowing a plan to mature over long spans of time.
