What we're looking for
We're looking for a hands-on Mobile Software Engineer to join our team in Ikeja. Working alongside the team, you’ll own day-to-day feature execution, mobile UI implementation, and build real-time location features for our logistics platform. This is a hands-on execution role where you'll take key features from design to production and directly shape the mobile product.
Responsibilities
- Build clean, modular, and maintainable Flutter code that integrates with backend RESTful APIs and WebSocket streams (e.g., real-time location updates).
- Manage the app release pipeline, including builds, versioning, and publishing updates to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Monitor app stability, debug production crashes, optimize frame rates, and maintain fast startup times.
- Collaborate with backend engineers and product designers to turn designs into fluid, production-ready UI/UX.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or HND from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience building, testing, and shipping production applications with Flutter & Dart.
- Direct experience integrating live location services (e.g., Google Maps/Mapbox), handling background location tracking, dynamic map layers, or real-time event streaming.
- Comfortable working within an existing Riverpod-based codebase and conventions.
- Experience integrating REST APIs, WebSockets, offline storage, and caching strategies.
- Familiarity with app deployment processes on the Apple Developer Console (TestFlight, App Store Connect) and Google Play Console.
- Proficiency with Git and mobile debugging tools.
Nice to have
- Background in native Android (Kotlin) or native iOS (Swift) for writing custom platform channels.
- Prior industry experience in logistics, delivery, or urban mobility.
- Familiarity with mobile CI/CD workflows (e.g., Codemagic, Fastlane, GitHub Actions) and Flutter testing frameworks.
