When you sign in with Apple or Google, we use Firebase Authentication to manage your account. Your sign-in provider may share an account identifier, your name, and your email address. Apple may provide a private relay email instead of your personal email.
We store your username, display name, avatar, daily goal, coins, owned items, pantry, equipped items, streaks, game status, monthly premium reward claims, verified membership periods and saved step history in Firebase so you can save and restore your adventure. The app also keeps a local save on your phone. Changes made offline are backed up after a successful sync.
With your permission, Solemate reads step counts from Apple Health to track your goals, calculate in-app rewards and run its walking features. Solemate does not write records to Apple Health.
Step tracking and daily aggregation happen on your phone through Apple Health. Daily step totals are sent to Firebase for account backup and friend leaderboards. We do not upload individual Health samples, their timestamps, or their source-device information. We do not sell Health data or use it for advertising. We do not send your Health records, step counts or avatar activity status to RevenueCat.
You can change Health access in your iPhone's settings. Revoking access does not automatically delete previously saved totals. Original records in Apple Health remain under your control and are not deleted when you delete your Solemate account.
Other signed-in players can find your profile by username and see your display name and avatar. Accepted friends can see the step totals, streak and character information used in the Friends and leaderboard screens. Friend requests and connections are stored to provide these features.
Your sign-in email and private cloud-save contents are not included in public profile discovery.
Google Firebase provides authentication and database hosting. Apple and Google provide their sign-in services. Our application database is in the United States; our service providers may also process information in other countries.
Apple handles App Store payments. We do not receive payment-card details. RevenueCat uses your account identifier and purchase or subscription information to validate and restore membership. Apple and RevenueCat may retain transaction records under their own obligations and privacy policies.
In Solemate, open Settings → Delete account. You can review what will be removed, open Apple subscription management and cancel before confirming deletion. We ask you to verify your identity by signing in again. For accounts using Sign in with Apple, the app also requests revocation of the Apple authorization.
Once our server accepts the request, it blocks further account synchronization and removes your Firebase account, profile, username reservation, saved game progress, step history and friend connections. The server continues the request even if you close the app, and retries if cleanup is temporarily interrupted. The app clears the account's local save and recovery copies on the phone where you requested deletion. Other devices may retain local copies until they detect the deletion request. Uninstall Solemate from those devices to remove their local app data, including devices that remain offline.
A minimal deletion receipt containing the account identifier and deletion status is retained for up to seven days after completion to prevent old sign-in credentials from restoring deleted data. Pending requests remain until cleanup succeeds. Infrastructure backups, security logs and records required by law may follow the relevant provider's retention processes.
Deleting your Solemate account or uninstalling the app does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel it through your Apple Account's subscription settings. Sign-out alone does not delete your account.
