1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Somare LLC ("Somare," "we," "us") runs Somare, a mobile-first web app for nervous-system regulation and somatic wellness at somare.app. Somare recommends daily practices, in-person studios, places, and retreats. This policy explains what we collect, why, who receives it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Somare app, somare.app, and emails we send from Somare [email protected].

Somare is currently a private, invite-only app. preview behind an access code. Some features described here are built but switched off, or planned for launch. We say so where that applies, and we will update this policy before any of them go live.

Somare is a wellbeing tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, and it does not replace care from a qualified professional. Somare is not a healthcare provider, and HIPAA does not apply to the information you give us. We protect it under the state laws described below.

2. The short version

• We collect what you tell Somare, data from wearables (such as your Oura ring, Garmin, or other supported devices) if you connect them through our integration provider Terra API, and the minimum technical data needed to keep you signed in.
• Much of it is health information. We use it only to run Somare for you.
• We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising, or cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Claude receives your data only if you connect it yourself, and you can revoke it any time.
• You can export your journal, delete what Claude saved, and delete your whole account yourself.

3. Information we collect

3.1 Account and sign-in

• Email address (required for an account). An account record also has a name field.
• Password (optional, at least 10 characters). We store only a secure hash, never the password itself. You can sign in with a one-time magic link instead. Magic links and password-reset links expire after 15 minutes and work once.
• Session data. When you sign in we create a session that records your IP address and browser user agent. Sessions last up to 180 days from their last renewal, or until you log out.

You can use parts of Somare without an account. In that case your data stays in your browser and never reaches our servers.
