Staggerbrooke is where the intellectuals, artists, and muses go to perfect their craft, gain inspiration, and create in peace. The sky-tram (an airship trolley transport system) runs students of all ages to and from classes around this city-state until dusk, where only citizens and their guests remain. In Tutor’s Rest, exotic plants of various greens imported straight from First State are tended to by Rootkeepers to ensure their beauty can inspire those who visit. However, away from the central hub of Staggerbrooke, in places closer to the precipice of the city state more native plants of blues, purples, pinks, and reds are the only ones to be found. The greenery of the ground is like a lost art kept alive in Staggerbrooke alone.

The General Aesthetic

Staggerbrooke is like an Elizabethean fever dream. This city-state looks designed exclusively by a dream of DaVinci if he’d been living in a Moroccan culture. Mosaics meet cobblestone, sensibly thatched roofs meet intricate glasswork on the windows. It boasts beautiful weather, and lush gardens with odd plants and flowers that thrive at the intense altitude. People here are often artisans and teachers, thinkers and philosophers. The current style in fashion is reminiscent of bohemian aristocrats with frills, ruffles, and corsets, as well as tatters, leather, and extreme color combinations.

Ora Kadeer

Ora Kadeer is one of two rim-towns on Staggerbrooke, and it is the more affluent one. This is a neighborhood of artisans and tutors of Banneker students. Quiet hours are strictly adhered to because at night, the Starlight Symphony strikes up the band and plays the town to sleep. It’s uncouth to walk about during symphony hours, though not entirely expected you sleep immediately after. To be recruited to the Starlight Symphony is a massive honor musicians strive to achieve all of their lives.
