Stride helps you record workouts, build a routine with a partner, and participate in fitness leagues. This policy explains how Progression Apps ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use Stride.
Privacy contact: [email protected].
We use this information to authenticate accounts; save, restore, and sync your journal; record and display workouts and routes; personalize goals and progress; connect partners; deliver messages and shared activities; calculate league standings; respond to requests; and operate and secure Stride.
The current app does not include advertising, cross-app advertising tracking, Google Analytics, or Firebase Crashlytics. It does not connect to HealthKit or Apple Health, and it does not process payments or collect payment card details.
Stride saves workouts, routes, photos, routines, preferences, and session recovery data on your device. While signed in, saved journal records and attachments automatically sync to your private Firebase account, including previously saved records when account sync starts. Your private cloud records include saved GPS routes, routines, custom exercises, profile settings, and onboarding information. In-progress recording drafts remain on the recording device.
"Private" means these records are restricted from other app users by account access controls. It does not mean they stay only on your phone or that they are end-to-end encrypted. Our service providers process them to operate the service.
Connecting a partner automatically shares saved activity details and selected photos, including existing saved activities. Shared details can include titles, dates, durations, distances, notes, and completed workout sets. Your partner can also see your display name, profile photo, team name, accepted pact, hearts, messages, and read status.
GPS route coordinates are removed from activity records sent to your partner. Private routines, custom exercise definitions, and private backups are not shared with your partner. A photo, title, or note you share may itself reveal a location or other personal information.
