[!TIP]
Tired Tuesday mode (25 minutes): Open Review Queue → pick the oldest item with Due now = YES → answer from memory for 10 minutes → check your notes for 5 → do one practice problem or explain it aloud for 10. Then stop. A short real session beats a long reread.
Do this today
- Deadlines first: In Coursework & Readings, handle anything overdue or due in the next 3 days.
- Then reviews: In Review Queue, study items marked YES in Due now. Start with 🔴 Shaky, then 🟡 Learning, then 🟢 Solid.
- Finish the loop: Set Last reviewed to today and rate Result. The next review date moves automatically.
- [ ] I did one deadline task
- [ ] I did at least one due review
- [ ] I captured loose notes/photos instead of organizing them
Quick capture
Don’t clean things up when you’re tired. Add one row to Notes & Materials, paste the Google Doc link or attach the whiteboard photo, choose the class, and leave Processed unchecked. Future-you can sort it during the weekly reset.
Your four lists
The databases below are the whole system:
- Courses — rename the five placeholders once; paste each syllabus/folder link.
- Coursework & Readings — every exam, assignment, and assigned reading gets a due date here.
- Review Queue — one row per testable topic, question, formula, case, or concept.
- Notes & Materials — the zero-friction inbox for Docs, slides, photos, and links.
[!IMPORTANT]
No passive rereading rule: before opening notes, write/say what you remember, solve a problem, draw the diagram, or answer a question. Notes are for checking, not starting.
