Integrity is the foundation of the officiating profession. It’s what defines your credibility and what others will remember about you long after the game ends.
In officiating, integrity means demonstrating:

“Integrity is what you do when no one is watching.”

Every decision you make (however big or small) reflects your character. Whether you’re officiating a youth game or a championship, the standard never changes.
There will be moments when maintaining integrity isn’t easy. A tough call might hurt one team, or a coach might pressure you to see things their way. You might even feel the crowd’s energy influencing your emotions.
In those moments, remember: your integrity matters more than the outcome of a single play.
Stay grounded in your principles. When you make a call, make it because it’s right, not because it’s popular.
