Q. What can I track with SubscriptionMinder? A. You can track three types of items: recurring subscriptions (e.g. streaming services, SaaS tools), coupons, and loyalty points — all with expiry or renewal dates.
Q. How does the AI scan feature work? A. Take a screenshot of a subscription confirmation, coupon, or loyalty summary. The app uses AI to automatically extract the name, amount, currency, and date — so you don’t have to type anything manually.
Q. What currencies are supported? A. USD, EUR and JPY. The Insights screen displays totals in your selected display currency.
Q. Do I need an account to use the app? A. No. You can use the app in Guest Mode without signing up. However, your data will only be stored locally on your device. Creating an account enables cloud sync and push notifications.
Q. Where is my data stored? A. Account data (items, preferences) is securely stored on AWS servers. Guest Mode data is stored only on your device and will be lost if you uninstall the app.
Q. How do I delete my account and data? A. Go to Settings → Delete Account. This will permanently delete all your data from our servers. This action cannot be undone.
Q. How do push notifications work? A. When you have an account, you can set reminders to be delivered 1 day, 3 days, or 7 days before a renewal or expiry date. Push notifications require signing in — they are not available in Guest Mode.
Q. Can I turn off notifications? A. Yes. You can disable all notifications or adjust timing from Settings → Notifications at any time.
