Sudoku Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 27, 2026

1. App and Developer

2. Login and Servers

Sudoku does not require login and does not provide its own server account system. The app currently does not send or store personal information on its own server.

3. Data Collected by the App Itself

Sudoku itself does not directly collect personal information such as name, email address, phone number, or postal address.

4. Local Storage

Information required for app functionality, such as puzzle progress, elapsed time, mistake count, hint usage state, settings, and completion counts used to manage ad display frequency, may be stored locally on the user's device. This information is used to provide app functionality and restore game progress and is not sent to the app's own server.

5. Ads and Consent Management

Sudoku uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to provide advertisements. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process advertising-related information such as advertising ID, device information, and ad interaction data for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.

Sudoku uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage consent for advertising and data processing where applicable. Users may change available choices through the Privacy options screen in the app.

6. Third-Party Services

Google services may be used for advertising and consent management. Google's data practices are governed by Google's own policies.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Game progress and settings stored by the app remain locally on the user's device. This local information may be removed when the user clears the app's data or uninstalls the app.
