Before you write

Including these details gets your issue fixed much faster:

• Device model and OS version (for example: Pixel 7 on Android 15, or iPhone 14 on iOS 18)
• Prism Reader version (shown on the app's home screen / in Settings)
• What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead
• Whether it happens with every PDF or only one specific file

Please do not attach a PDF that contains personal, confidential, or copyrighted material. If a bug only shows up with one document, tell me what is special about it (scanned pages, very large size, unusual fonts, right-to-left text) and I will try to reproduce it with my own file.

Common questions

Does Prism Reader upload my files anywhere?

No. The app makes no network requests at all. All rendering happens on your device.

Why does a PDF look wrong in Reflow mode?

Reflow mode extracts the text layer from the PDF and re-wraps it to your screen. PDFs that are scanned images, or that have complex multi-column layouts, tables, or math, may have no usable text layer. Switch back to Page mode for those documents.

Why is a scanned page not inverted in Dark mode?

Prism Reader detects photo-heavy pages and dims them instead of inverting them, because inverting a photograph makes it unreadable. If you would prefer a different behavior, tell me and I will consider it.
