# Scotome — Support
Questions, bugs, ideas: **[email protected]**
I answer personally. Mentioning your iPhone model and iOS version saves a round
trip.
## Frequently asked
### Siri does not recognise the phrase
Say the full app name: “New attack in Scotome”. Siri matches phrases against a
list rather than interpreting them — the accepted wordings are listed under
Settings → Siri → Scotome, or in the Shortcuts app.
### The widget opens the app instead of logging the attack
On a widget, only the button acts; a tap beside it opens the app. At rest the
whole tile is the button. If it persists, remove the widget and add it again:
iOS caches the previous rendering.
### Weather context shows “unavailable”
It needs location permission, once, to query Apple's weather service. Check
Settings → Privacy → Location Services → Scotome. The reading is retried when
you return to the app.
### The trigger analysis stays locked
It needs 15 attack **days**, not 15 attacks: several attacks on one day count as
a single observation. The counter is visible in the Report tab.
### I changed iPhone — where are my attacks?
They come back with your iCloud backup, provided the same Apple Account is
signed in. Settings → iCloud in the app shows whether syncing is active.
### How do I cancel?
App settings → Scotome Pro → Manage subscription, or from your Apple Account
settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
### Deleting my data
Settings → Delete everything removes the data from the device and from iCloud.
Deleting the app removes what it holds locally.
## What Scotome is not
Scotome describes what you record. It makes no diagnosis, recommends no
treatment and does not replace medical advice.
