Getting Started

Setting Up Your Business Profile

1. Open the app and complete the onboarding, or go to Settings → Business Profile
2. Enter your business name, phone, email, and license number
3. Optionally add your company logo — it will appear on all PDFs
4. These details show up on every estimate and invoice you send

Setting Your Defaults

Go to Settings → Default Rates to configure:

• Default Markup % — applied to every new estimate (set to 0 if you already price with your margin built in)
• Default Tax % — your local sales tax rate
• Estimate Validity — how many days estimates stay valid (default: 30)
• Payment Terms — text that appears on PDFs (e.g., "Due upon completion")

How to Create an Estimate

1. Tap the + button on the Home or Jobs tab
2. Select or create a client
3. Add line items — each one has a description, category, quantity, and unit price
