Does TinyShield upload my photos or videos? No. All processing — face detection, tracking, and covering — happens on your device. Your media and the faces in it never leave your iPhone and are never sent to us or anyone else.It missed a face / covered too much.
It missed a face / covered too much. What can I do?
In the editor you can tap any face to cover or reveal it, and use "Add area manually" to cover a region yourself — on video, a manual region follows the subject. If detection struggles on a clip, manual regions are the reliable fallback.
Is the cover reversible?
No. Covered faces are destroyed with a solid, opaque fill in the exported file — it can't be undone. Keep your original if you want an unredacted copy.
Does covering faces make my video safe to post?
Not necessarily. TinyShield hides faces only. Audio, reflections, backgrounds, clothing, and other details remain, and removing a face doesn't guarantee someone can't be identified. Always use your own judgment before sharing.
How do I remove the watermark / get higher quality?
Upgrade to TinyShield Pro to remove the watermark and unlock 4K/original resolution, longer videos, and premium covers. Tap any Pro option in the app to see the plans.
I bought Pro but it's not showing.
Open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same App Store account you bought with. If it still doesn't appear, email us.
