By mentoring students, modeling technical excellence, and building supportive learning environments, you help open doors for those who are often left out of tech. 🧑✈️ What You Do - Responsibilities
Tech Fellow responsibilities may include some or all of the following:
- Facilitate conversation, help students with points of confusion, and ensure strong participation from all students.
- Growing students in the meta-skills of consistency, self-sufficient learning, and engaging peer networks.
- Developing strong relationships with program participants to support their growth throughout the program.
- Assisting with technical questions on Slack or during breakout sessions.
- Reviewing assigned material prior to class to ensure a strong understanding of the content.
- Maintaining contact with your Instructional Program Manager and Tech Fellow Manager, including Slack and synchronous check-ins to debrief session trends and keep improving.
