This morning, I just wanted to sleep.

I was SO tired.

But suddenly, I got a phone call.

It was my coworker.

I looked at the time and realized…

I was late.

VERY late.

I got dressed really fast.

I grabbed my bag and ran outside.

Normally, I take the bus to work.

But when I got to the bus stop…

I saw the bus leaving.

I missed it.

I thought:

“Great. I just missed the bus.”

And I was already late.

So I decided to take an Uber instead.

The Uber took about 20 minutes to get to my office.

And during the ride, I got another phone call.

This time, it was my mom.
