Table Extractor AI does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to the developer.

Table data: Tables you extract are processed entirely within your browser. Nothing is sent to any server operated by the developer (we run none).
AI features (optional): Only when you explicitly click "AI Format" or "Find a table with AI", the selected table or the page text and your instruction are sent directly from your browser to the AI provider you configured (Anthropic or OpenAI), using your own API key. This data is subject to that provider's privacy policy. The developer never sees it.
API key: Your API key is stored only in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your device. It is never transmitted anywhere except to the AI provider you chose, as authentication for your own requests.
Analytics / tracking: None. No analytics, no ads, no tracking of any kind.
Permissions: The extension reads a page's content only when you click its icon on that page, solely to detect and extract tables.
