Core Infrastructure | Storage | Virtualization
At Orient Path, we partner with technology companies building the infrastructure behind cloud providers, service providers, SaaS platforms, and enterprise environments.
This is a highly specialized infrastructure Product role. We're looking for a Product Manager who has directly owned products in virtualization, software-defined storage, or closely related core infrastructure.
Experience with cloud, Kubernetes, APIs, DevOps, distributed systems, or other technically complex products is not sufficient on its own. We need someone for whom storage/virtualization/core infrastructure has been the product itself, not simply the technology underneath another product.
If you've owned the roadmap for a storage, virtualization, or core cloud infrastructure product, we'd like to talk.
If your experience is primarily with applications that run on top of cloud infrastructure, this is probably not the right role.
What You'll Own
- Define product strategy and roadmap for Core infrastructure platform
- Drive product direction across virtualization, software-defined storage, networking, and cloud infrastructure components
- Partner closely with engineering on architecture reviews, RFCs, technical specifications, and long-term platform evolution
- Translate customer and operator requirements into scalable infrastructure capabilities
- Define platform functionality around performance, scalability, resiliency, storage efficiency, and operational simplicity
- Collaborate with hardware vendors and technology partners across CPU, GPU, storage, and networking ecosystems
- Lead competitive analysis and performance benchmarking to shape future product investments
- Define product KPIs around performance, reliability, scalability, storage efficiency, and customer adoption
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across Engineering, QA, DevOps, SRE, Customer Success, and Field teams
- Help shape the future direction of Infrastructure Product and Storage Product
What You Bring
1. You're a real Product Manager.
You have experience defining: product vision, product strategy, roadmap, prioritization, customer requirements, technical specifications, long-term platform evolution.
