1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to SocialStar! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SocialStar mobile application (the "App") provided by SocialStar Technology Ltd ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.

You must be at least 18 years old to use SocialStar. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

2. Description of Service

SocialStar is a skill-based photo competition app. Here is how it works:

• You join a live phone call with your friends through the App
• During the call, you participate in photo competition rounds
• In each round, every participant submits one photo
• You may optionally enter real money from your in-app wallet into the round's prize pool, or enter for free — monetary entry is never required
• Once all photos are submitted, Google's Gemini AI judges every photo in the round and assigns each a score between 1.1 and 9.9 based on factors such as creativity and technical quality
• The participant whose photo receives the highest score wins the entire prize pool for that round
• SocialStar Technology Ltd retains a 10% platform fee from any prize pool that contains real money; the remaining 90% is paid to the winner

Because SocialStar is a skill-based competition with a free entry route available in every round, it is not classified as gambling under applicable law in England and Wales or in the United States.
