Required to read before placing a commission

General information

⟡ I will draw:

⟡ I will consider:

• fan-art
• self-insert
• monster
• mecha
• themes with explicit gore, suggestive, or pornographic content (must prove to be +18)

⟡ I will NOT draw:

• real people without their explicit consent
• hate speech
• violent NSFW
• themes of pedophilia, incest, and such

Anything I'm not comfortable with (you will be informed after reading the submission)

• Payments are through PayPal or Ko-fi and in EUR only! If the client uses a different currency, it will be converted to EUR. Until the payment is made, I will not start any piece.
• I have the right to turn down any commission request at any point in the process if I'm uncomfortable or the client is disrespectful. A refund may not be plausible depending on the situation.
• References are a must! If the client doesn't have references or asks to design a character and it's not for a character design/sheet commission, it will add a +50% fee of the final price of the commission.
• Each type of commission has its own time limit that I use to work on it; if, due to changes, the time spent on the commission is exceeded, a fee of +10€ per hour will be added.
• The client is entitled to 3 reviews of major changes to the piece after approving the sketch. Depending on the level of detail of the character, the price will increase by +5€ / 15€ / 30€ (icon / half body / full body) (This is discussed with the client before payment).

AI CLAUSES:

• No-AI-Training: All work delivered cannot be used to train, fine-tune, or be fed to generative AI models without my express written consent.
• AI Disclosure: It must be disclosed from both sides if AI was used in the brief, the references, or the final delivery.
• Input Warranty: The images, references, or assets provided by the client must be licensed for use or available under a Creative Commons license.

Commercial Licenses

• NON-EXCLUSIVE: I, as the artist, retain the copyright, and the commissioner may use the artwork as agreed. I remain free to license or profit from the artwork myself, while the commissioner may not transfer or resell these right usages unless agreed otherwise. Prices do not vary.
• EXCLUSIVE: I, as the artist, retain the copyright, but the commissioner receives exclusive rights to use the artwork as agreed. Neither the commissioner nor I are allowed to license the artwork to others, and I cannot profit from it. A total of a +10% fee of the final price will be added to buy this license.
• COPYRIGHT BUYOUT: The commissioner buys and receives the copyright and full ownership of the artwork's rights. I may no longer use nor profit from it unless agreed otherwise. A total of a +50% fee of the final price will be added to buy this license.
• PERSONAL: I, as an artist, retain the copyright, and the commissioner is allowed to use the commission for non-profit, personal use only. I'm allowed to profit and sell unless agreed otherwise. Prices do not vary.

Fixed-Term Deposits:

• This can only be done if the total price of the commission surpasses 60€
• The client can decide to divide the payment into 2 or 3 months (other options must be discussed and agreed on).
