Effective date: July 5, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of Flashback ("we", "us"). By using Flashback, you agree to them. The short version: be reasonable, your memories are yours, and subscriptions are handled by Apple.

1. Using Flashback

Flashback is a personal journaling app. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer the app, abuse the service, use it to store unlawful content, or interfere with other users' use of it.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Flashback.

2. Your content

You own the memories you create — photos, captions, everything. We claim no ownership of your content.

If you enable Premium sync, you grant us the limited technical permission needed to store and transmit your content solely to provide sync and backup to you. That permission ends when you delete your content or account.

You are responsible for the content you store. Keep a backup of anything irreplaceable — see also section 6.

3. Premium subscriptions

• Flashback Premium (sync, backup, and AI features) is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID.
• Payment is charged when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard policies.
• If a Premium feature is discontinued, we'll provide reasonable notice.
