These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile application Chess (the "App") provided by [Developer / Company Name] ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to the Apple App Store Terms and these Terms.

2. In-app purchases and virtual items

• The App offers optional in-app purchases, including consumable hint packs and a non-consumable "Remove Ads" purchase.
• Purchases are processed by Apple and charged to your Apple Account. Prices are shown in the App and may change.
• Hints and other virtual items have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are non-transferable. Consumable items (hints) are used up as you spend them.
• All purchases are final. Refunds are handled solely by Apple under the App Store terms; we cannot grant refunds directly.
• "Remove Ads" removes interstitial advertising; optional reward-based ads (e.g. "watch an ad for a hint") remain available by your choice.

3. Advertising

The free version of the App is supported by third-party advertising. By using the free version you agree that ads may be shown. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising data is handled.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code, except to the extent permitted by law;
• modify, tamper with, or cheat the App, its purchases, or its rewards;
• use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

5. Intellectual property

The App — including its design, graphics, board themes, piece sets, and other content — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant no rights to our trademarks or content beyond the limited license above.
