Welcome to NutriScore. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the NutriScore mobile application ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

NutriScore provides a mobile platform designed for food quality scanning, barcode tracking, and nutritional information analysis. The services may be updated, modified, or restricted at our discretion at any time.

2. User Accounts and Security

To access certain features (such as tracking your scan history), you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. Apple's "Sign in with Apple" and other third-party login methods are subject to their respective terms.

3. Medical and Nutritional Disclaimer

NOT MEDICAL ADVICE: The content, scores, and information provided by NutriScore are for informational and educational purposes only. NutriScore is not a medical organization and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified physician, dietitian, or healthcare provider regarding a medical condition, diet changes, or food allergies. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee the information is always 100% complete or up-to-date. Always read the physical product label before consumption.

4. Subscriptions, Free Trials, and In-App Purchases

NutriScore offers premium features via automated recurring subscriptions. We provide Monthly and Yearly plans, which may include a free trial period.

• 7-Day Free Trial: If offered, you will have full premium access for 7 days at no cost.
• Automatic Conversion: At the end of the free trial, the subscription automatically converts into a paid recurring subscription (Monthly or Yearly, based on your selection). Your Apple ID will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the trial.
• Avoiding Charges: To avoid being charged, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends via your Apple ID Account Settings.
• Payment & Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Management & Cancellation: You can manage or cancel subscriptions any time in your App Store Account Settings.
• Refunds: Transactions are handled by Apple's In-App Purchase system; refunds are subject to Apple's terms and requested through Apple Support.

5. Termination and Account Deletion

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access for any violation of these Terms. In accordance with Apple's guidelines, you may permanently delete your account at any time through the App's settings menu.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NutriScore and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the App, or reliance on any food scores provided.
