Test & Iterate at a Glance

The hi-fi Figma prototype was put in front of five participants in a formative usability study — small enough to be honest about (counts not percentages), large enough to surface the comprehension and trust breakdowns that show up clearly with representative users. The study confirmed the core of the design and surfaced two specific issues, both fixable with low-effort copy and hierarchy changes before the build.

What Held Up

All five completed the send path without error. The Fexi card lowered the cognitive barrier to starting a transfer.
All five read the recipient's local-currency amount first — validating the most consequential design decision from synthesis. Confirmed across every corridor tested: ₱11,200 GCash, ₩950,000 KRW, $1,350 CAD, M-Pesa Instant.
All five located Fexi's rate read without instruction or onboarding prompts.
Crypto abstraction held 5/5. Zero participants asked about, or realized, that stablecoin rails were in use.
