The Box is Alive is a wacky physics-based platformer. You take control of a box on a mission to deliver itself after Boreal, the shipping facility that packed you, mysteriously shuts down. But just because it’s abandoned doesn’t mean it’s safe!
Master rolling, jumping, and gliding to overcome hazards and pitfalls. Determine if machinery, from giant fans to hydraulic presses, will be obstacles or avenues on your journey. Curious players can go the extra mile, investigating each level to solve the mystery behind Boreal’s termination (and your sudden sentience).
Are you box enough to escape? Or will you get trashed trying?
The Box is Alive was born from the physics experiments and 2 A.M. brainstorms of three grad school students. This group of friends pooled their savings, spent weekends locked in version-control purgatory, and playtested until their thumbs were sore. All because they believed a simple box could make players laugh and think. They’ve come a long way since their dorm room studio, and are ready to roll The Box is Alive out to the world!
