Role: Program Manager Location: Sandy Springs, GA (in-person, 5 days per week) Reports To: Executive Director Compensation: $55,000–$62,000

The Role

The Dupree is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Program Manager to oversee our suite of educational programs. In this role, you will support the planning and execution of educational programs designed and produced by The Dupree. Working with senior leadership and internal and external partners, the role translates program goals and priorities into detailed plans and manages the timelines, budgets, logistics, vendors, stakeholders, and on-site execution required to deliver excellent programs.

Responsibilities

Program Planning & Execution

• End-to-End Ownership: Once programs are approved, own their operational execution from detailed planning, to live execution and post-event wrap-up. Use systems like HubSpot and Asana to create a clear, transparent process, where no detail is lost.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate the work of internal teams, speakers, vendors, and community partners to ensure educational programs are delivered on time, on budget, and according to plan.
• Goal Alignment: Collaborate with internal team and community partners to align around established program goals, success metrics, timelines, and responsibilities.

Logistics & Vendor Management

• Venue & Space Coordination: Identify, evaluate, and secure appropriate venues and spaces for both local and partner-led educational events at the Dupree. Consider the experience of both the speaker and the audience.
• Vendor Relations: Source and manage relationships with external vendors (catering, A/V, room setup, print production, tech support), negotiating contracts and ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Budget Tracking: Monitor program expenses closely to ensure all events are executed within their approved financial parameters.

On-the-Ground Execution & Support

• Event Leadership: Act as the primary, go-to person on-site during live events, managing setup, schedule adherence, and vendor troubleshooting.
• Stakeholder Hospitality: Ensure a welcoming environment for attendees, educators, speakers, and partner organizational leadership.
• Post-Event Evaluation: Lead wrap-up meetings, gather feedback from partners, and synthesize data to improve future programming. Be the lead on documentation, invoicing follow-up and a satisfactory survey.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in program management, nonprofit operations, educational programming, or event management (experience within Jewish communal organizations or non-profits is a major plus).
• Detail Obsessed: A proven track record of managing moving parts, complex logistics, and tight timelines without letting things slip through the cracks.
• Relationship Builder: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable collaborating with internal staff, high-level community partners, and external vendors alike.
• Problem Solver: Highly adaptable with the ability to think on your feet and solve logistical challenges calmly during live events.
• An organized self-starter with sharp time-management skills, who thrives under pressure and keeps the details straight when everything feels urgent.
• Tools: Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Asana, HubSpot) and standard office suites (Microsoft Office).
• Flexibility: Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends based on the educational program schedule.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds (e.g., food trays, program materials) during setup and breakdown, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to reliably arrive and depart on time as the point person for programs and events with variable start and stop times.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation for this role is $55,000–$62,000 annually, based on experience. Full-time employees receive medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid time off; a 401(k) plan with employer contribution; and charitable contributions on their behalf. Full-time employees (32+ hours) also receive up to half off tuition at participating Jewish day schools in Atlanta.
