“John!” the Enchantress cried, “come here at once!”

The groom scuttled over to the great Enchantress, frightened. He had thick, black, ruffly hair and the colour of his outfit matched his hair. He wore the finest of shoes on his feet (also black) and wore another pair on his hands. Otherwise, he was stunningly handsome.

Without a word, the groom tied the personal majestic carriage to his back as if he was going to pull the entire, heavy carriage. Shortly after he hastened the carriage tightly to his back, he took oats from his left pant pocket and ate them. The Enchantress nodded to herself and waved her hand. At that second itself, John transformed into a beautiful, black horse with a glossy coat. Even both pairs of his black shoes transformed into shiny, iron horseshoes. The Enchantress boarded the carriage and leaned back on the velvet–cushioned seat.

“Get me to the Queen via Lord Washington’s manor” the Enchantress instructed the horse. The horse nodded in reply and began cantering towards their destination.

After ten minutes of journeying, John stopped at the porch of the Washington Manor allowing Lady Washington – a close friend of the Enchantress – to board the carriage. Then, they rode another ten minutes to The Castle.

The Castle was larger in size compared to the Enchantress’ but not a tad grander.

But for now, let us take a moment to learn about the world where all our beloved characters are residing in. They called it ‘Menirstar.’ Menirstar held 7 continents and 7 seas. The continents were: ‘Ministry of Menirstar’ which is the governmental head of the entire world and ‘Menirstaria’ where the Enchantress, the Washingtons, the Queen and all the other nobility reside in. After that, there’s ‘Menirstarune’ where the…dark side lives. I do not wish to discuss Menirstarune now, please excuse me. Finally, there’s the ‘North, South, West and East Menirstar.’ Well, time to move on…

As the Enchantress and the Lady Washington entered The Castle, they passed countless, luminous chandeliers that illuminated every nook and cranny. After the two hundred and forty-seventh chandelier, both ladies were greeted with the lovely smile of the Queen. Then, the Queen took them to her garden where the butler served them the finest tea. The trio gossiped over their tea, after all, they were the closest of friends.

“How’s Bambi doing?” the Lady Washington asked the Queen.

“Oh, he’s alright,” the Queen replied, “A second please, Penelope, allow me to call him.” The Queen called Bambi’s name. One the third calling, a cute, little fawn appeared from behind a bush. He wore an orangish-brown coat and very, very shaky, thin legs. After an aww, Penelope threw a baby carrot – that she had bought at the market earlier that day – at Bambi’s mouth. The fawn leapt and caught the carrot with utmost accuracy. In the simple actions, the Enchantress hid another, something only caught by the Queen’s eyes. The Enchantress had waved her hand.

“What spell did you use?” the Queen asked the Enchantress.

“I see you noticed,” the Enchantress replied, smiling, “just a simple StayClean and a ReGrow.”

The Queen nodded. She was educated in the magical arts (despite lacking the ability to have and use magic) as part of her tuition to become a Queen, back when she was a Princess. She knew that StayClean would keep the baby carrot forever clean and edible and that ReGrow would cause the baby carrot to regenerate. ‘Well’ thought the Queen, ‘Bambi is in for a surprise!’

The trio continued chatting about various topics until it reached the topic of ‘Ministry of Menirstar’ when the Queen’s smile faltered. Both her friends immediately noticed it and questioned her if something was troubling their leader.

“Well, it is the reason I have called both of you here,” the Queen said slowly still frowning.

“Was it not just for tea?” Penelope asked.

“I am not pleased to say: most definitely not,” the Queen replied, “in fact, the Ministry of Menirstar received a message from him.”

Lady Penelope Washington’s jaw dropped.
