This Privacy Policy explains how The Islam App (“the App”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the App.

2) Information Collection and Use

The Islam App does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

The app operates entirely locally on your iOS device.

No Personal Data: I do not ask for, collect, or store personal details such as your name, email address, IP address, or device identifiers.
Location: The Islam App requests your device location to calculate the direction to the Kaaba and your local prayer times. This location is used entirely on your device. This location is used entirely on your device and is never transmitted to me, stored on any server I control, or shared with any third party. You can deny location access entirely and enter a city manually instead.
Notifications: If you turn on Prayer Notifications in Settings, Qibla Finder schedules local reminders on your device for each prayer time, computed entirely from your on-device location. These notifications are handled exclusively by iOS on your device — never generated by, or reported back to, any server I control. You can turn notifications off at any time in the app's Settings, or in iOS Settings → Notifications.
No Analytics: The app does not use any third-party analytics frameworks (such as Google Analytics, Firebase, or Mixpanel) to track your usage.
No Third-Party Services: The app does not integrate with any third-party SDKs, ad networks, or social media platforms that gather user tracking data.
Apple Frameworks: The Islam App uses Apple's own CoreLocation and MapKit frameworks to convert your coordinates into a city name and to search for a manually entered location. These lookups are processed by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy, not sent to me or stored by me.
