The Player.tscn scene handles everything from moving and shooting to taking damage and kicking things around (specially enemies, Haha!). All of which can be done and modified without the need to write any code. Simply select the Player node in your scene, look at the Inspector tab on the right side of your screen, and you will find the "Player Dashboard." Here you will find a breakdown of what you can tweak:

You can heavily customize how your character feels to control. You can have a fast paced arena shooter or a slower tactical pace, it all up to you:
Movement Settings: Adjust your base Walk Speed, toggle the ability to Sprint, and set how high you can Jump. You can also tweak the Gravity Multiplier to make jumps feel heavier or floatier.
Crouch Settings: Toggle whether crouching is allowed, how low the camera drops, and how fast the transition takes.
Camera & Look: Decide if the player can look up and down (Enable Vertical Look), and restrict how far they can tilt their camera using the Vertical Look Limit slider.
Head Bobbing: Toggle the classic boomer shooter camera bounce when walking.
💡 Accessibility Tip: Disabling Enable Head Bob only stops the visual camera bounce. Your footstep sound effects will still play perfectly in rhythm.
