What we're actually trying to solve
Build a library of short, repeatable AAC modelling videos that live in Fletcher's TikTok feed — so he passively absorbs language models in his own preferred medium, using real people and contexts he already knows and loves. The goal isn't professional content, it's familiar and rewatchable.
The shirts — yes, do this
A Cricut shirt with Fletcher's Proloquo home page on it means:
- Every video has a visual anchor he already knows and associates with communication
- When Tahlia or Nat wears it, he's getting passive symbol exposure just by looking
- Creates a consistent "brand" across all videos — he'll start recognising it as his content
- Subtly prompts him to look from the shirt to the iPad (incidental symbol learning)
To make it: Screenshot his Proloquo home page → run it through Cricut Design Space as print-then-cut or HTV iron-on. One shirt each = visual consistency across every video.
Video categories
Category 1: Solo modelling (Nat or Tahlia, no Fletcher)
Easiest to batch-film first
- "I want..." — press a want word, act it out. 15 seconds.
- "I feel..." — one emotion word + expressive face. Happy, tired, excited.
- "I like this" — hold something from the house, press the symbol.
- Single word spotlight — zoom into one symbol, press it, use it in a sentence.
- "More / stop / done" — model core vocabulary in real action.
- Activity preview — press today's activity on Proloquo before starting it.
