Overview

Time Ago displays human-readable relative timestamps (e.g. “3 hours ago”, “in 2 days”) instead of raw dates. It updates automatically at a configurable interval, so the displayed text stays accurate without any extra workflow logic. The plugin supports both English and Turkish out of the box, with a structure that makes it easy to add more languages in future versions. No coding required — just drag the element onto your page and connect a date value.

How to use

1. Drag the Time Ago element onto your page from the visual elements panel.
2. In the element’s properties, set Date to any date/time value (e.g. a database field, “Current date/time”, etc.). This is required.
3. (Optional) Set Language to en or tr. Defaults to en if left empty.
4. (Optional) Set Compare to if you want to calculate relative time against a fixed reference date instead of the current time — useful for events, deadlines, or countdowns.
5. (Optional) Adjust Update interval (in seconds) to control how often the displayed text refreshes. Defaults to 30 seconds.

The element supports both past dates (e.g. “3 hours ago”) and future dates (e.g. “in 3 days”).
