Purpose: Show you are ready and well-suited for the proposed training.

Must include:

• 🧭 Overall Training Goals — what you plan to accomplish and how it fits your career path
• 🧪 Candidate’s Preparedness — past research experiences and skills
• 👁 Self-Assessment — strengths and areas to gain training
• 🔬 Scientific Perspective — how your background prepared you for the proposed work and its significance
