Let the meeting end without the action items disappearing.

This workflow turns raw notes into owned, trackable work and keeps AI from inventing tasks that were never agreed.

Copy-and-paste prompt

Process these meeting notes into action items.

First, identify:
- decisions made
- commitments
- follow-ups
- questions that remain open
- things someone is waiting on
- deadlines that were explicitly mentioned

For every action item, include:
- task
- owner
- due date, only if one was actually stated
- source or evidence from the notes
- status
- next action

If the owner or due date is unclear, mark it as unclear instead of guessing.

Then compare these action items with my existing task system if you have access to it:
- do not create duplicates
- update an existing task when the meeting adds useful context
- keep “I owe” separate from “They owe”

Show me the proposed changes before writing to a shared task system.

The useful part

The win is not a cleaner meeting summary. The win is that commitments enter the system where work already lives.
