Our mission in UG is to help high school students become deeply rooted in Christ by guiding them in discovering their identity, finding belonging, and growing in their God-given purpose through spiritual practices, acts of service, and authentic relationships within a supportive community. [2][3]
Finding joy in the journey of becoming of deeply rooted in Jesus
This Ministry Action Plan (MAP) outlines a comprehensive strategy to nurture high school students in their spiritual growth, focusing on key elements of identity, belonging, and purpose. Our weekend programming, small group Bible studies, and service projects are designed to create an environment where students are deeply rooted in Christ, supported by their peers, mentors, and church community. By implementing these practices, we are committed to raising up a generation of resilient disciples who are equipped to navigate life’s challenges with a strong foundation in Christ, fostering a sense of belonging, and discovering and living out their God-given purpose. Through this strategic approach, The Underground youth ministry will not only meet the spiritual needs of today’s students but also equip them to become the next generation of leaders who embody Christ’s love in their schools, communities, and beyond. By addressing the core questions of identity, belonging, and purpose, we believe that we can foster a transformative youth experience that deeply roots students in their faith and empowers them to make a lasting impact for the Kingdom of God.
